Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 3.00 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 320. CONSTA-NTINVS AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right, the helmet decorated with two stars. Rev. ROMAE A-ETERNAE / R ЄΡⲰC Q Roma seated right, inscribing shield set on her left knee with X/V in two lines; at her side, shield. RIC 195. Extremely rare and the finest known of the type. Minor roughness and with a small flan fault on the edge of the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
